![]() ![]() I spoke to a supervisor & they said it was an employee error and they would give feedback to the supervisor for the people who pack the groceries.We are looking for lighthearted, fun and interesting UK-specific content and comments They started reading me a too long policy about changing packaging & recycling that didn't address my direct question so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I could not get an answer from Customer Support as to whether this was actually a policy change - not packaging meat in a safe manner - or was it a a worker making the same error multiple times. A Fresh refunded the items completely but that isn't even the point, it's an obscene waste of food, and also I had no meat for meals - I had to order from a responsible grocery delivery service - Instacart - and pay a service & delivery fee. This is the second order in 3 weeks that has come with meat & frozen foods in single layer brown bags with nothing to keep them cold, and the meat had to be thrown out also. Now the IJ is fine but everything else was a complete write off. It was packed about over an hour before it was out for delivery & delivered 1 3/4 hours after that, so the meat was 68 degrees on the surface & the packages were ballooning out! Also a large carton of ice cream & 4 cans of frozen juice in a another single regular brown paper bag with nothing to keep them cold - all completely liquid. Today my Fresh delivery came & the 4 pounds of ground meat were in a single regular blown paper bag, no insulation & nothing to chill it - no frozen water bottle or dry ice.
